Overcoming Dry Hair
With all the abuse your hair takes from the heat styling, chemical processing, coloring, sun, cold, etc... it tends to get dry, a lot. Make a small but very rewarding investment in a great mask such as the Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask
($29) to keep in your shower which you simply apply after you shampoo for about 5 minutes, rinse thoroughly and then apply a conditioner (we recommend the Moroccanoil Hydrating Conditioner
($21).
If your hair is more on the fine side Meghan recommends the Weightless Hydrating Mask ($39) that won't weight your hair down.
Beating Frizz & Fly-aways
Meghan recommends the Wella Beauty Balm Perfect Me Lotion $19 (available at BLO/OUT locations). It can be applied on your damp or dry hair. Apply to damp hair as a styling product for moisture, shine and control of those fly-aways. You can then apply it to your dry hair to control frizz without ruining your style.
Getting Rid of Oily Hair
Get rid of oily, limp, volume-less hair by using the Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo ($26.90) which comes in either dark tones or light tones. Spray a little directly on your roots, massage it in with fingers and brush it through for beautiful volume. Use it also to prolong your BLO/OUT and style or when you just don't feel like washing your hair for a few days.
Hide Your Roots
For those times you have to be somewhere but didn't get a chance to get your color done in time Meghan recommends the Style Edit Root Concealer Spray ($15.95) which is available in all shades to accommodate for all hair colors. Spray directly to the area that you want to cover up and give it a few minutes to dry. It's awesome because it doesn't flake and shampoo's out as soon as you wash your hair giving you a few extra events before getting your color done.
Getting Your Fine Hair to Hold a Curl, Braid or Wave
When your hair is so fine it can't hold anything you want it to, Meghan recommends the Moroccanoil Dry Texture Spray ($28) which is applied to dry hair before and after styling to create enough texture and grit to hold your Kardashian waves, beautifully undone beach waves or braid.
Smooth Hair for the Coarse Haired Beauties
The Moroccanoil Blow Dry Concentrate (now $26) which is applied to your wet hair for a beautiful, smooth blow dry and will reduces the time and difficulty as well. Apply it to your dry hair for great frizz control!
